Earlier this year I started WebWork which was basically a collection of mini projects. You can read more about the idea of it here. It has only been going two months but I’m a bit gutted to say that I’m not going to carry on with it any longer.

Whilst I enjoyed the first couple of tasks, the one I’ve just posted tonight was a pain in the ass. The descriptions are getting shorter and shorter and it’s becoming a chore rather than something I should enjoy doing. To make a couple of side projects a month is far more demanding that I anticipated and documenting the projects is really annoying me.

This doesn’t mean that I’m giving up on side projects but more that I’m only going to make things that mean something to me. I feel like I’m wasting my time with these WebWork projects and my time could be utilised better elsewhere.

I’m always posting stuff on both my Function website and my Github account, all my other side projects can also be seen here.

So WebWork is now discontinued unfortunately. Thanks to everyone who tweeted, shared or mailed me about it.
