UTFI

August 10, 2012

The live website can be viewed at www.utfi.net

Whilst at university I decided that it was essential to build my portfolio up in order for me to obtain some much needed practice but also to have a collection of work which I would be able to present to prospective employers.

I posted on the fantastic Designers Talk in the hope of finding someone who had a project they needed sorting.

I was contacted by , a Fin who asked me to redevelop his font download website. I got straight down to business and completely revamped (rescued) the website from its unsightly previous look.

It’s a one page layout and features some cool mouseover events aswell as a “Test Font” application which allows the user to have a play with the font before they download it. The website is fully responsive using CSS3 media queries and is accessible across a range of mobile devices.

This was one of the first website projects I ever completed which was launched live and I thoroughly enjoyed making it. Take a look, there are some fantastic fonts in there.
